Who you're dealing with
Italian Roots Journeys is an Australian business based in New South Wales. You can reach us at admin@italianrootsjourneys.com.
What the deposit is
The deposit is $500 AUD per traveller. It reserves a place on our founding small-group departure through Campania, Calabria and Sicily, planned for summer 2027.
We are validating demand before committing to the full operation. The departure is not yet confirmed. It will run only if it reaches minimum numbers. A deposit is not a confirmed booking, and dates, itinerary and inclusions may change before the departure is confirmed.
Your refund rights
- Before the departure is confirmed, you can ask for a full refund at any time, for any reason. Email us and we'll refund the full amount to your original payment method.
- If the departure does not reach minimum numbers, we will cancel it and refund every deposit in full. You don't need to ask.
- If the departure is confirmed and runs, your deposit is credited in full against the trip price.
When the departure is confirmed
Before we ask for any further payment, we'll send you the confirmed dates, the final itinerary and our full booking terms in writing. These include the balance due date and cancellation terms. Nothing beyond the deposit is charged until you've agreed to those terms.
Prices
Prices shown on the site are in Australian dollars and are land only. International flights to and from Italy are not included. The final trip price will be set out in the booking terms before you pay anything further.
Payments
Deposits are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Your card statement will show ITALIAN ROOTS DEPOSIT.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
